INSURANCE

Every balloon entering the MONDIAL AIR BALLONS - LORRAINE 2005 shall have in full force, during the event, a liability insurance policy in the minimum amount of 1,530,000 €uros. Every pilot will have to prove the balloon’s insurance, by producing a certificate of insurance at the on-site “welcome pilot” booth.

The cancellation or decrease of liability of the policy(ies) by the company prior to or during the MONDIAL AIR BALLONS – LORRAINE 2005 means the automatic revocation of the balloon and pilot from MONDIAL AIR BALLONS – LORRAINE 2005.

The required limit of liability to enter the MONDIAL AIR BALLONS - LORRAINE 2005 is 1,530,000 €uros with a combined single limit for third party legal liability and passenger legal liability; third party liability (bodily injury and property damage) coverage must contain no deductible.

The policy shall include participation in balloon air events and/or competition and extended coverage in France and bordering countries for the entire duration of the MONDIAL AIR BALLONS – LORRAINE 2005 (from July 22 to 31).

The certificate must be drawn up in French (or English), be signed by the insurance company and mention the following information :

- Insurance company : name, address, phone number
- Policy holder : name, address
- Policy type and #
- Effective date
- Limit of liability
- Use
- Geographical limits
- Insured balloon(s) (registration number)
- Pilot schedule
